The Beginning of All Good Things...

I have wanted to start this blog for years. Full disclosure, I have delayed starting it because of fear. The fear of not being a good enough writer, the fear I won’t have the time to come up with the content or have the time to write the blogs. I have also never been fond of social media. I think it has the potential to be a time sucker and more recently with all the negativity in the world, an energy sucker. However, I also know that it’s a great way to connect with people on a personal and business level. Since my husband and I have started a new Real Estate franchise in NH (Lakefront Living Realty - The Smith Group) this is an opportune time to start this blog that I have been planning for years. Life is too short for fear; so welcome to my blog “All Good Things!” This blog will be a place where I can share positive, thought provoking and fun info about the Real estate market, NH community events, area restaurants and activities, and of course; since my impetus to start this blog years ago was my passion for sharing wine knowledge, I will share tasting notes and insight into new wines I have found at local wine shops, as well as some of my seasonal inspired cocktail creations. My Mom always said, “Good things come in small packages,” and “All good things come to those who wait.” Both of these quotes have meant a lot to me over the years and I’ve tweaked and combined them to create the name for this blog. We live in a society that focuses too much energy and time on the negative things in life so with this blog I hope to exemplify the opposite. Life is about experiencing, learning about, and focusing on the meaningful and good things in life. I am looking forward to building a community of followers that are just as passionate about the “good” things in life as I am!
